Conspicuous Gallantry Cross

Full size medal - Unmounted with 15cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.

Miniature  size medal - Unmounted with 10cm ribbon as required for swing mounting.

 

The Conspicuous Gallantry Cross was instituted in 1993 as part of the restructuring of the honours system and was designed to remove distinction between ranks. This award replaced the DSO for specific acts of gallantry. It was first awarded in 1995.
